Day 1 After arrival at Lilongwe-airport immediate transfer to Korea Garden Lodge which has en-suite rooms and a nice swimming pool & terace.

Day 2-3: Zomba Plateau to Zomba Plateau on day 2 in around 4 – 5 hours. Packed lunch on route. Overnight in Kuchawe Inn on half board. Kuchawe Inn is nicely located with beautiful views. Room are ensuite. Some of the most interesting places to visit while you are here are the botanical gardens and the central market. Zomba was the capital city until 1975 when Lilongwe was declared the new capital. The Zomba market is regarded as the most colorful in Malawi. There are several hiking trails, Williams falls, Mandala falls. Emperor’s viewpoint and the Queen’s view

Day 4-5: Liwonde National Park In the morning om day 4 clients will depart for Liwonde National Park ( this is just a 1 – 2 hours drive ), stay at Chinguni Hils on full board plus activities.The Liwonde National Park area is named after the local Amachingo Yao traditional authority that predominates this area. Liwonde is today one of Malawi’s most desired park destinations due to its scenically attractive vistas and the diverse range of wildlife to be seen here. Lying on the Great African Rift Valley floor, the Park is over 500 square kilometres and the only home in Malawi to the Big Five mammals. Over 400 bird species are also resident among the diverse brachtegia, mopane, and riverine woodlands, palm savannahs and the associated marshy floodplains.The Shire River does not dry up like so many other African rivers. Thousands of hippos and crocodiles live in these abundant waters. Grazing in the floodplain are waterbuck, sable and impala antelope whilst herds of elephant drink and bathe in the river. The highlight of a visit to Liwonde is a river cruise. An astonishing number of bird species inhabit the park, among which are the brilliant Lillian’s Lovebirds, the Brown Breasted Barbet, Pel’s Fishing Owl and Palmnut Vulture. The resident black rhino pair gave birth in mid-1997 to a baby rhino; its sex has not yet been determined – nobody can get close enough! Chinguni Hills is located at the entrance of Liwonde NP. Clients will stay at the new luxury tents and activities will be planned from there. Game drives, walks and river safari.

Day 6-7: Senga Bay From Liwonde N.P. you will drive in about 4 hours to Senga Bay, where you will stay, at Lake Malawi, at the Safari Beach Lodge for one night on half board. On the way to Senga Bay you can visit Mua Mission with its crafts center and museum. Senga Bay is regarded as one of the best beaches in the region. Safari Beach Lodge is set on a hill side surrounded by numerous natural trees, you will be staying in comfortable walk-in safari tents en-suite, built on the rocks overviewing the lake, or rooms en-suite on half board.Optional activities include visits to the nearby Lizard Island, Grants Fishing farm or the nearby hills for walks. Senga Bay has the largest curio-market in Malawi. Water sports are available.

Day 8: Senga Bay – Lilongwe Airport Transfer in 1,5 – 2 hours to Lilongwe Airport for onward connection. End of 2Africa services
